Watch online discussion panel featuring the Institute's research with Syrian refugees
Time and again, Canada has opened its doors to welcome refugees from around the world. In 2015 particularly, our country welcomed refugees fleeing the humanitarian crisis in Syria, resettling close to 40,000 refugees within the space of a year.
How have these refugees fared in their new country and lives, and what can be learned from their experience that might benefit future refugees? Let's find out in this session of Talking Point, as we discuss the key findings of the Syrian Refugee Lived Experience Project and the lessons learned from it to do better with welcoming the current refugees (Afghan, Ukrainian) & any refugee crisis in the future.
