Michael Adams , president of the Environics group of research and communications companies, founded the Environics Institute in 2006.
The Institute is a not-for-profit entity governed by an advisory team composed of Mr. Adams as well as:

  • Alan Broadbent, chairman of Avana Capital Corporation and the
       Maytree Foundation; and
  • Mark Sarner, president of Manifest Communications.

    Others committed to the Institute's work include:

  • David Eaves, a negotiation consultant and fellow at the Centre
       for the Study of Democracy at Queen's University;
  • Amy Langstaff, a writer, consultant and former researcher in
       the Environics Social Values practice;
  • May Wong, an independent philanthropy consultant and member
       of the board of the Canadian Urban Institute.
